Knit-Rite/ Thuasne has an immediate opening in Kansas City, KS for a Full Time Maintenance Technician!

What You’ll Get To Do

This position is a training position to learn how to perform maintenance on knitting equipment, Train to resolve machine knitting issues and correctly troubleshoot and repair of all knitting equipment. Also, in addition to running some knitting equipment as a backup operator when necessary.

The Essentials

- Learn how to Identify maintenance issues on knitting equipment and resolves appropriately.
- Help perform maintenance on knitting equipment.
- Performs variety of small jobs as assigned.
- Learn how to Operate knitting equipment as backup operator as needed.
- Train to follow preventative maintenance schedules and helps maintain schedule.
- Follows lock out tag out procedures.
- Work as a team member to accomplish goals and projects.
- All other duties as assigned, including helping in other departments as needed.
